Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC)

Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) a synthetic thermoplastic material made by polymerizing vinyl chloride. It is made softer and more flexible by the addition of plasticizers. If no plasticizers are added, it is known as uPVC (un-plasticized polyvinyl chloride) or rigid PVC. This material used to produce pipes for plumbing and conduit fixtures.

Un-plasticized Polyvinyl Chloride (UPVC)

Un-plasticized Polyvinyl Chloride (UPVC) belongs to category of vinyl resins where in its molecular structure; each monomer unit contains one chlorine atom. Resistant to acids & alkali, but sensitive to aromatic solvents with heat resistance up to 60 Deg.This material used to produce pipes for sewerage & drainage application.

Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC)

Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) is thermoplastic produced by chlorination reaction with homo-polymer PVC resin, by increasing chlorine contents in PVC to 70% max. Chemical resistance similar to PVC but heat resistances up to 105 Deg. C which is significantly more flexible and can withstand higher temperatures than standard PVC. This material used to produce hot and cold water pipes, potable water pipes and pipes for industrial application.

Polyethylene (PE)

Polyethylene (PE) a polyolefin resin polymerized to form PE having high molecular from with medium to high density. Chemical resistance is same as PP (Polypropylene) with heat resistance up to 60 Deg. C. This material is used to produce soil-resistant piping & pipes for irrigation application.

Polypropylene (PP – R)

Polypropylene (PP – R) obtained through polymerization from polyolefin resin. Pipes are made of homo, block or random copolymers. It is resistant to strong acids, alkali & weak solvents but sensitive to strong oxidizing acids & halogens. Heat resistance up to 110 Deg. C. This material used to produce pressure pipes for hot & cold water and pipes for high temperature and industrial application.

Polybutylene (PB)

Polybutylene ( PB ) is a polyolefin or saturated polymer. It is a form of plastic resin that was used extensively in the manufacture of water supply piping. This material used to produce pipes for hot and cold drinking water distribution.
